New Delhi:Â There is very good news for those making UPI payments. After UPI BHIM, now with the help of Phone Pay, users will be able to transact in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Now PhonePe users can make payments using UPI on Mashreq’s NeoPay terminal.
Only Rupees Will be Deducted From The Account
Walmart Group’s digital payment company has shared this information. PhonePe said that transactions will be made easier through Unified Payment Interface (UPI). Deduction (debit) from the account will be in Indian Rupees. Neo-Pay terminals are available at retail stores, restaurants as well as tourist and holiday destinations. According to Ritesh Rai, CEO, International Payments, PhonePe, with this partnership, customers can easily transact through UPI.
Indian Travellers Will Get Benefit
This collaboration is facilitated through Mashreq’s partnership with NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL). Through this partnership, Mashreq has enabled NEOPAY terminals to accept the UPI app as a payment instrument. This allows Indian travellers to easily use UPI for transactions.
